A hazardous weather advisory for the area predicts more thunderstorms, gusty winds and heavy rain.
The severe weather outlook posted by the National Weather Service of Baltimore, M.D. and Washington, D.C. predicts showers and scattered thunderstorms after midnight.
“Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected after midnight,” the NWS report reads in part. “Some storms will be capable of producing locally damaging winds.”
The NWS expects rainfall to present a possibility for localized flash flooding of small streams and creeks as well as in urban areas.
