At 8:54 a.m. Jan. 3, TFC M. Grimes responded to a reported disturbance in the 45000 block of Dee Court in Great Mills.
Upon arrival contact was made with the female complainant who advised her two sons were involved in an assault.
Contact was then made with her juvenile son who advised his 22-year-old brother, David Logan Scopin, took his marijuana and fled the residence.
A short time later, David Scopin was contacted in the area of Midway Drive and Pegg Road by TFC M. Grimes. Scopin was found to be in possession of a bag of Marijuana for which he was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
Juvenile Services will be notified and a petition be filed charging the juvenile according.
