SEVERN, Md. – On March 24, 2018 at approximately 2:02 a.m., officers responded to the 8200 block of Monhegan Court in Severn for an attempted citizen robbery. The adult male victim stated that he was approached by the suspects and one struck him in the head several times while the other held him and demanded his money. The victim refused and the suspects fled on foot.
Several officers responded to canvass the area and located one of the suspects, later identified as Stephon Geroge McDonald, 27, of Odenton. After a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was apprehended and arrested. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released for a head injury. Detectives continue to investigate and our attempting to identify the second and third suspects.
Suspect 2 has been described as a black male, 20-25 years old, approximately 6’0 220 lbs. Suspect 3 has been described as 20-25 years old.
