It was a regular mob scene at a special public forum held Tuesday night at the LaPlata Social Services Building.
Charles County law enforcement called the meeting to give the official version of facts surrounding the shooting and killing of Jonathan Lyles, 24, of Oxon Hill, on March 18, by a Charles County Shheriff’s Officer.
About 200 angered residents hurled comments of racism, murder, and cover-up at police during a question and answer session. The moderator could not keep order in the meeting.
