Passenger Arrested With Crack

At 1:38 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, TFC Linger was patrolling Route 235 south of Route 246 in Lexington Park. 

TFC Linger observed a Nissan passenger car exceeding the posted speed limit. A routine traffic stop was initiated for the speeding violation. 

Further investigation revealed the passenger, William Keith Penn, 38, of Lexington Park was in possession of crack cocaine and two smoking devices containing burnt cocaine residue.  Mr. Penn was arrested for possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.  He was later transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
