DFC Todd Smith was on routine patrol in Huntingtown when he observed a vehicle on the property of the Calverton School.
After making contact with the vehicle occupants, he observed suspected marijuana in plain view.
A search of the occupants revealed that the passenger was in possession of suspected cocaine.
The passenger, later identified as Michael L. Varela, 32, of Holland, MI, stated that both the drugs were his.
He was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
