UPDATE 1 p.m. Feb. 18
Authorities are investigating the cause of a motor vehicle crash that occurred in the 24700 block of Three Notch Road near Hollywood Road around 11 a.m. on Feb. 18
Rescue crews from Lexington Park, Leonardtown and Hollywood arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles involved which included a Chevrolet Equinox and a Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The southbound lanes of Route 235 were shut down while rescue crews attended to accident victims.
The driver of the Monte Carlo received serious injuries and was flown by medavac to PG Shock Trauma.
No word on the cause of the crash of if any charges were made.
