Shortly prior to midnight on May 29, 2011, emergency crews were dispatched to the 36000 block of Bushwood Wharf Road for the pedestrian struck. Upon arrival by emergency crews, they found a 20 year old male that was unconscious after being struck and then dragged by a vehicle. Crews initiated care and requested a helicopter for transport to a trauma center. Trooper 2 arrived and transported the patient. Squad 5, Engine 54, and Command 5 from the Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, a paramedic ambulance from the Seventh District Volunteer Rescue Squad, and law enforcement operated on scene approximately an hour.
