Prince Frederick, MD โ€“ย This past week, former Prince Frederick Eaglesโ€™ President Antoine White was charged with misdemeanor theft, allegedly stealing $116 from the organization.

The charges come after a lengthy investigation into the organization revealing former Football Coordinator Corey Sollers mishandled funds. The case documents allege Sollers embezzled $17,370 of the Eaglesโ€™ money, abusing his access to the organizationโ€™s account to purchase a vacation, video games, and other miscellaneous things.

The report from the Calvert County Sheriffโ€™s Office reads in part that the investigator โ€œdid not find any evidence that anyone, including White, knew Sollers was stealing PFE moneyโ€ฆ .โ€ It goes on to read that White incriminated himself during an interview, disclosing that he had used the PFE card to purchase gas.

The cases involving White and Sollers are ongoing; both individuals are innocent until proven guilty of any allegations in a court of law. TheBayNet will be actively covering these cases, keeping our audience up to date.
