LARGO, Md. –ย Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to arrest the suspect(s) who fatally shot a man in Largo. The victim is 39-year-old Omar Wright of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On March 28, 2018, at approximately 11:05 pm, patrol officers responded to the 600 block of Harry S. Truman Drive for the report of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene, officers found the victim in a parking garage suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive.
