According to St. Mary’s County Public Works and Transportation Director George Erichsen, the county has 12 to 15 trucks available, 11 smaller vehicles with plows and 85 to 100 plows available from contractors. The county has 3 tons of salt available
as of 9 a.m. the trucks were not on the road (that may have since changed). When asked if county crews were ready, Erichsen said: “Absolutely.”
