Police say William F. Scriber, 55, of Morganza, stepped in front of a Ford F-150 traveling on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park at 10:20 p.m. Sept. 16.
The driver, Sylvester W. Ball, 52 of Lexington Park, was not injured or charged in the incident and police say speed nor alcohol was a factor on his part.
Scriber was critically injured and frown to Prince Georges Trauma Center by helicopter Trooper 7
The St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office said Scriber is believed to have been consuming alcohol.
