St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Officers are searching for and man who they believe committed a strong armed robbery at the Best Western hotel in California Monday night.
Police responded to the scene and searched for the suspect, described as black male, approximately 5 foot, 11 inches with a large build wearing a blue sweat shirt. Using K-9 units, they searched behind the Hickory Hills shopping center in the power line right of way and in the Hickory Hills community but lost the trail at around 11:15 p.m.
