UPDATE – March 7, 8:35 a.m. – Saeed Akhil Handon has been arrested.
California, MD – Detectives from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating suspect Saeed Akhil Handon, age 20, of California MD, who is currently wanted for 2nd Degree Escape stemming from his violation of pre-trial supervision conditions.
On March 1, 2016, Handon violated the conditions of his pre-trial release, as ordered by District Court Judge K. Chesser, by removing a GPS monitor device and fleeing his residence in California, MD. Handon had been released from the St. Mary’s County Detention Center under the conditions following his arrest in December for multiple counts of theft, theft scheme, and rogue and vagabond.
