At 1:47 a.m. Nov. 7, Trooper B. McCartney responded to a reported theft at the WaWa on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the male complainant who advised Robert Corey Lentz, 21 of Callaway, stole some medications from the counter and left the premises.
Trooper C. Evans responded to the suspect’s residence, took him into custody and transported Lentz back to the WaWa.
During the investigation, Trooper McCartney discovered that Lentz stole the pills and ingested approximately 24 pills.
Lentz was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for emergency evaluation. Tpr. McCartney applied for a Criminal Summons for the Theft Under $100 which was issued and subsequently served on Mr. Lentz at St. Mary’s Hospital.
