The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Maryland State Police will conduct a Labor Day Holiday weekend enforcement initiative which will include Speed Enforcement, Aggressive Driving Patrols,

DWI Saturation Patrols and Community Policing Team activity in communities throughout St. Maryโ€™s County during upcoming holiday weekend.

Citizens should be aware of the increased police presence and enforcement activities from Friday, August 31, 2007 through Sunday, September 3, 2007.ย  Sheriff Tim Cameron emphasizes the goal of these efforts is a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend on our roadways and in our neighborhoods.

Please obey the speed limit, donโ€™t drink and drive, and please report criminal or suspicious activity to Police.
