On Aug. 31 at 11:46 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of Flora Springs Street and Hamilton Road in Waldorf.
Upon approaching the car, Officer C. Chamblee smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Further investigation revealed the driver had 16 grams of marijuana, two scales and packaging materials in the car.
Elijah Robinson, 18, of Waldorf, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute drugs.
