Waldorf, MD – On April 29 at 9:07 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Bridle Path Drive in Waldorf for the sound of gunshots. When officers arrived, no one was in the area. A few minutes later, officers received a call for an injured male at a gas station on Berry Road.
Officers determined the victim, 29, of Accokeek, had a gunshot wound to his neck and that he had been shot on Bridle Path Drive. The victim was transported to a hospital where he was treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Further investigation showed the shooting appeared to be intentional and may have been drugโrelated.
