At 6:26 p.m. Oct. 24, Trooper Chirichella was dispatched to a residence on Rodeo Rd., Lusby, for a suspicious vehicle.

Upon arrival, TPR Chirichella observed the vehicle. A search was conducted and suspected crack-cocaine was recovered from the vehicle.

Arrested at that time for possession of cocaine was Shawn Tyrone Butler, 21, of Lusby.

After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

Jeffrey Wayne Hyde, 29 of Mechanicsville, was arrested and charged with Violation of a Protective Order.

Deputies responded to a Hollywood home to find that the suspect had made threats to the victim, in violation of a Protective Order.

A search incident to arrest revealed a crack cocaine smoking device. Deputy James Stone was the arresting Deputy.

At 4:25 p.m. Oct. 14, TFC Evans stopped a vehicle for speeding on Pegg Road at Westbury Blvd. in Lexington Park.

Upon contact with the driver, Thomas William Norris, 38, of Callaway, a can containing cocaine residue was observed on the passenger seat.

A probable cause search revealed no further CDS. Norris was charged on a criminal summons and released from the scene.

At 10:14 a.m. Oct. 11, Trooper Stern stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Rt. 260 in Dunkirk.

The driver, Reuben Scott, 46, of Washington, gave consent to allow the trooper to search the vehicle. During the search, suspected cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia were recovered.

Scott was placed under arrest at that time for possession of cocaine, marijuana, and CDS paraphernalia. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

At 6:25 p.m. Oct. 8, Trooper Stern stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Rt. 231 Prince Frederick.

A computer check revealed that the operator, Decarlos Bunting White, 33, of Prince Frederick, was driving on a suspended license.

Incident to arrest, 2 baggies of suspected cocaine were recovered from the vehicle.

White was then additionally charged with possession of cocaine.  After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
