At 4:50 p.m. Feb. 20, TFC Rossignol of the Leonardtown barrack stopped a vehicle for speeding, 65 mph in a posted 50 mph zone, on Route 235 at Tippett Road in Lexington Park.
Upon contact with the driver, Erin Elizabeth Lebeaux, 21, of Great Mills, an odor of burnt marijuana was detected.
With the assistance of Officer Colvin, St. Mary’s College Public Safety Officer, a probable cause search was conducted.
Recovered from driver’s side door pocket was a bag containing marijuana and a multicolored glass smoking device.
Lebeaux was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. She was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
