On Aug. 12 Deputy William Rishel responded to a call for a theft at the Target Store in California.
His investigation revealed that the suspect, Annette Cofield Lee, 50 of Lexington Park, was exchanging price tags on various items to lower the cost in her favor.
She was arrested, charged with theft under $500, and was awaiting a preliminary hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
