On Dec. 24, at 3:35 p.m., Tpr. G. A. Thompson responded to the reported Theft of mail which occurred in the 22000 block of Maddox Road in Bushwood.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female complainant who advised she placed an order with Bass Pro Shops for some clothes valued at $80 which was shipped Priority Mail and was delivered to the residence on Dec. 23, between the hours of 1 p.m and 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 23.
Later that afternoon she noticed the mailbox was open and no mail was inside. She contacted the post office and was advised by the postal carrier that her mail and the package were delivered earlier in the afternoon.
Neighborhood checks were conducted with negative results and the investigation continues.
