ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is accepting public comment on proposed changes to the 2018-2020 hunting and trapping seasons. The department evaluates possible changes every two years.
Over the past several months, the department has presented proposed management concepts to a variety of external and internal partners and stakeholders, including farmers, hunters, trappers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
“As always, the feedback from this stage of the process helps inform and improve our proposed concepts,” Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Paul Peditto said. “As a result we have made several changes to the proposals and now present the current concepts for further public review and input.”

The proposals will also be presented at two in-person public meetings:
