ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is accepting public comment on proposed changes to the 2018-2020 hunting and trapping seasons. The department evaluates possible changes every two years.

Over the past several months, the department has presented proposed management concepts to a variety of external and internal partners and stakeholders, including farmers, hunters, trappers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

โ€œAs always, the feedback from this stage of the process helps inform and improve our proposed concepts,โ€ Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Paul Peditto said. โ€œAs a result we have made several changes to the proposals and now present the current concepts for further public review and input.โ€
