It takes backbone and integrity to stand up and fight when all of the odds are against you, and that is why I Bryan “Puff” Barthelme recommends my friend John O’Connor for St Mary’s County Commissioner, District 3.
John is a strong advocate of progressive ideas, he encourage progressive thinking, process improvement, and continual development. In these austere budget times, he recognizes the challenge of providing high levels of service, albeit in an efficient and effective manner. Accordingly, I know he will look for opportunities to save money, without sacrificing the quality of service, and will also challenge others to live by this principle.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated deep involvement in the community, and Honorable service to his country. I know that he would bring this deep commitment of community service to the citizens of St Mary’s County.
John’s Military Medals like the Purple Heart, and Valor Device are mere symbols of his devotion to serving his country. Symbols that show he is dedicated to service and is definitely willing to sacrifice it all for the people. Most of all those medals would mean nothing if the man behind them was not one of integrity with strong morals, and John most definitely is. Please take the time to go vote this election year, and when you do I ask that you vote for John O’Connor for County Commissioner. Let’s get a true leader in office.
