Concerned Calvert Citizens,

Don’t forget to watch the candidatesโ€™ forumย this Friday or Saturday eveningย (start times about 7 or 8 p.m.) n Comcast Channel 6, hosted by DACCA.

DACCA Members, the General Membership meeting will be held Thursday, November 30, 2006, at 7 p.m. at the Dunkirk Fire House. Among important topics is the election of the next Board of Directors.

Latest Campaign financial information (as of 22 October)ย relevant to the 7 November general election is posted. See below.

Candidates for Calvert County Commissioner were obliged to provide financial information by October 27, 2006, for this yearโ€™s general election. (Mark Frazer, Cal Steuart, Lloyd Robertson, Mike Benton, and Barbara Stinnett) for whatever reason did not have their financial information readily available for electronic viewing in the Campaign Finance Database sponsored by the National Center for the Study of Elections, University of Maryland, Baltimore County (http://mdelections.umbc.edu/campaign_finance/). DACCA obtained hardcopies of their reports and presents electronically the contributions received by these candidates. See www.daccamd.com label Campaign Finances.

These particular candidates along with Dixie Miller whose information can be found at the UMBC web site are the ones who are supported by the Pro-Growth Special Interest group known as Calvert Alliance for Responsible Leadership (CARL).

For all six candidates, you will see significant investment by the Real Estate, Building and Development Community, Gambling, and/or out of county special interests.

President, Dunkirk Area Concerned Citizens Association (DACCA)
