If you’ve ever driven through St. Mary’s County and wondered what new business or development might be coming, a new mapping system may have the answer.
The St. Mary’s County Department of Land Use and Growth Management (LUGM) has developed a new online Development Map.
The map displays residential subdivisions and multi-family development; and nonresidential/commercial site plans and permits. Building permits shown on the map will be removed when a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.
Subdivisions and site plans will be shown on the map for five years following the approval or recording date.
