Corporal James R. Molitor is set to retire from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office on November 1. But before he takes his leave the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County honored him with a retirement ceremony during their weekly business meeting.
Corporal Molitor first joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1998 as a Deputy and rose through the ranks. He achieved the ranks of Deputy First Class, Senior Deputy First Class and finally Corporal during his career.
Molitor was joined by his wife and several colleagues from the Sheriff’s Office. Upon conclusion of the ceremony he received a standing ovation from everyone gathered in the commissioners meeting room.
