At 2:04 A.M. on January 13, 2012, rescue crews were dispatched to the 26000 block of Thompson Corner Road for the personal injury accident. Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle on its roof with a snapped telephone pole hanging by the lines over the road, and both occupants out of the vehicle. Chief 2 advised that the road would be closed due to the downed lines and requested SMECO to be started. Crews worked to assess both patients and back board and collar one of them. Both patients were transported to the local emergency department and the last fire/EMS unit cleared the scene at 2:42 A.M.
