School Activities Cancelled – NWS Issues a Winter Weather Advisory

The National Weather Service has upgraded to a Winter Weather Advisory. The forecast remains the same with the expected 1 to 3 inches of snow overnight. Expect a rain and snow mixtures this afternoon and evening until temperatures drop and snow accumulation will begin.

All St. Mary’s County Public Schools after school and evening activities for Tuesday, February 2, are cancelled due to forecasted inclement weather.

Due to the threat of inclement weather this evening, all Calvert County after school and evening activities are canceled for Tuesday, February 2. A decision regarding the school schedule for Wednesday, February 3,  will be made by 5:00am on Wednesday morning.

Due to inclement weather forecasts, all Charles County Public Schools afternoon and evening activities scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, have been cancelled.
