The two St. Maryโ€™s County Board of Education incumbents survived Tuesdayโ€™s primary and will face the second place vote getters in their races in November,

Incumbent Marilyn Crosby was the top vote getter in the at-large race with 5,083 votes. James Tomasic with 3,326 votes will face her in November. Trisha Post was eliminated from the race. She garnered 2,181 votes

Incumbent Cathy Allen was an easy winner in the 2nd district race, with 6,686 votes. She will face James Davis, who got 2,801 votes, in November. David Kelsey, with 1,295 votes, was eliminated.

District 4 incumbent Mary Washington and her challenger Joel Rose did not have to run in the primary because three challengers are required for a primary. They will face each other in the general election.
