At 4:22 p.m. May 9, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 15000 block of Potomac River Drive in Cobb Island for the report of a school bus crash.
Investigation revealed bus #9 driven by Marie C. Bowie, 44, of Welcome, side-swiped an unoccupied 2000 Ford Taurus which was partially in the roadway.
There were nine students on the bus between 9- and 11-years-old and no one was injured. Officer D. Brady investigated.
