
In honor of Veteranโs Day, The Summit School hosted special activities on Wednesday, November, 11th.ย ย In the morning, students participated in a โBoot Campโ style workout.ย Afterward, all students and staff gathered for the an assembly that include an upper school (6-8 grade) performance of America the Beautiful, followed by speeches given parents and grandparents who currently serve or served in the U.S. military.ย Students each personally introduced their family member.ย
The statements provided by the veterans were poignant, educational, and inspirational.ย Staff and students alike were touched by their stories of heroism and service.
