COMPTON, Maryland — A search party composed of first responders from area fire departments located a deer hunter lost in the woods at Newtowne Neck State Park. The search for the man began just after 7 pm on Friday.
The St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police and Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police assisted in the search. They found the man just after 7:45 pm.
