2010 Common Scholarship Application Due March 15

Please note that the postmark deadline for the 2010 Common Scholarship Application is Monday, March 15. St. Maryโ€™s Business, Education and Community Alliance developed the Common Scholarship Application to increase the number of applicants for local scholarships. It allows students to apply for many different scholarships with just one application package.

A majority of the scholarship providers listed on the Common Application have agreed this year to accept the Common Application Package with no additional requirements beyond the basics. This means that students send just one application, one essay, one copy of the transcript and SAT/ACT scores, and two letters of recommendation and BECA will copy all material and distribute it to the providers chosen by each student.

More than $1 million in local scholarship funds has been awarded since the introduction of the BECA Common Scholarship Application in 2007. Below are the 2010 common scholarship application participants. The fillable PDF application can be obtained at smcbeca.org. For more information, contact BECA at (240) 725-5805 or info@smcbeca.org.
