On Friday, May 30 at 4:15 p.m., Authorities in St. Mary’s County responded to a two-vehicle accident with one person reportedly ejected.
Sources reported fire and emergency medical services from Hollywood were on the scene and a helicopter was requested to transport the ejected patient to a trauma center.
Northbound traffic is being diverted onto South Sandgates Road.
Southbound traffic was reportedly getting by but down to one lane.
