LEONARDTOWN, MD – The St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office Vice/Narcotics Division, assisted by the support team and patrol deputies, recently conducted an undercover operation with the intent of targeting websites that are frequently used to solicit prostitution in St. Maryโ€™s County. Beyond the quality of life issues that are associated with prostitution, other serious criminal acts, such as human trafficking, sexual assault, drug distribution and robbery, are known to have a prostitution nexus.

Najja Monet Sellers, 19 of Anchorage, AK was arrested for solicitation of prostitution for agreeing to provide a sex act for money.

Quanika J Bell aka Ebony Richardson, 19 of Temple Hills, was arrested for solicitation of prostitution for agreeing to provide a sex act for money. As officers attempted to arrest her, she assaulted them when she began kicking them. She was also charged with assault second-degree.

Tiffani Amber Mguygen, 33 of Temple Hills was arrested for solicitation of prostitution for agreeing to provide a sex act for money.

Nikki Elizabeth Morgan, 21 of Temple Hills was arrested for solicitation of prostitution for agreeing to provide a sex act for money.

Human trafficking is a serious and real crime facing our community. An early indication from the arrests listed above is there may be a human trafficking nexus. All related reports and information will be forwarded to the Annapolis Office of the FBI for further examination and possible investigation.

The St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office, in conjunction with the Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, will hold a second Human Trafficking information awareness gathering on January 22th, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Cornerstone Church is located at 23075 Town Creek Drive in California, MD. Additional information will be provided in the near future.

The St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Office would like to remind citizens to contact us with information regarding any criminal or suspicious activity in our communities, as well as thank them for their continued support and partnership.
