At 1:24 p.m. Aug. 29, Jeff Allan Dohm was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
After Dohm was processed at the Calvert County Detention Center, a confirmation on his fingerprints revealed that he had provided a false identity.
He was confronted and admitted that he is actually Joey Lee Gaines, 26 of Huntingtown.
A check of his true identity revealed that he was wanted in Ohio, Michigan and Florida on felony and misdemeanor charges.
Gaines was wanted in Florida for a registered sex offender who absconded from registration. He was additionally charged with failing to register as a sex offender and giving a false name.
