WALDORF, MD –ย The Blue Crabs tied the series against the Long Island Ducks on Saturday night at Regency Furniture Stadium.ย  Blue Crabs right fielder Jamar Walton ripped a two-run shot over the wall in right to propel the team to a 2-1 victory, their first win against the Ducks at home this season.

The Blue Crabs were trailing the Ducks going into the bottom of the sixth after the Ducks scored on an RBI single by first baseman Tyler Colvin but Walton ended the shut out putting the Blue Crabs ahead 2-1.ย  He extended his hitting streak to 10 games.

Blue Crabs starting pitcher Tim Sexton picked up his first win of the season shutting down the Duckโ€™s offense. Sexton tossed 7 solid innings allowing just one run.ย  RHP Justin Berg also picked up the hold out of the bullpen.

The Blue Crabs look to win their second straight series tomorrow in game three of the series will take place tomorrow evening at 2:05 P.M. at Regency Furniture Stadium.
