SHA to perform routine cleaning on Benedict Bridge this Sunday

This Sunday, April 6, the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will perform routine cleaning of the MD 231 (Prince Frederick Road/Hallowing Point Road) bridge over Patuxent River (“Benedict Bridge”).

Work includes removing debris from drainage areas and sweeping the bridge deck. Work hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorists should expect a single lane flagging operation during this time. All work is weather permitting.
