At 10:30 p.m. Oct. 2, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 4000 block of Bluebird Drive in Waldorf for the report of a fight.
Investigation revealed the victim, a 31-year-old Waldorf man, was riding his bicycle when he was approached by three suspects who ordered him to the ground.
The victim attempted to flee the scene and one the suspects shot him several times with a BB gun.
The suspects fled the scene in a 1995 blue Chevrolet Cavalier displaying Washington, D.C. tags. Officers observed the Cavalier on Dunlin Court and attempted to stop it. The suspects exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot into a wooded area.
Officers, including a K9 team, conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
The suspects were described only as two black males and a black female. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical treatment.
