At 6:38 a.m. Nov. 16, TFC Koch responded to the Best Western Hotel in Lexington Park for an armed robbery report.
Upon arrival, contact was made with one of the three victims, Robin A. Thompson, 38 of Tall Timbers. She reported a black female and a while male in an SUV picked her up and traveled to Shady Mile Drive to locate another female subject.
When they returned to Best Western they were met by an unknown black man who approached the SUV displaying what was believed to be a short barrel shotgun.
The armed man demanded money from the three victims.
The total amount taken was $86 and a pack of cigarettes.
The case is being investigated by the St. Mary’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
