Dep. Brianne Gray responded to the parking lot of the Rod ‘N Reel restaurant in Chesapeake Beach on August 31 at 11:55 p.m. for the report of an unauthorized use of a vehicle.
The victim reported that her brother had taken her vehicle without her permission. The suspect, driving the vehicle, then returned to the parking lot.
He was later identified as James P. Tillman, 50 of District Heights, and was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
The victim declined to press charges of unauthorized use.
