Eric J. Gallodoro
Solomons Island, MD— On August 25, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Boerum responded to South Solomons Island Road in Solomons and Stoney’s Kingfisher Restaurant for a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) violation complaint.ย
The complainant, who is the general manager for Stoney’s, advised, “there was a male, wearing a red T-shirt,shooting up heroin the men’s bathroom,” according to charging documents.ย
When Boerum arrived on the scene contact was made with the complainant in the entrance of Stoney’s. The complainant advised the male was unconscious, but snoring and sitting on the toilet in the men’s bathroom. Boerumย entered the men’s bathroom, announced “Calvert County Sheriff’s Office.” The male did not respond.
Boerum immediately recognized the male as Eric Gallodoro, 26 of Lusby, from hisย multiple previous encounters with him. Boerum witnessed Gallodoro sitting on the toilet with his shorts, and underwear completely up and around his waist.
Boerumย grabbed Gallodoro’s arm with his hand and he immediately woke up. Gallodoro dropped whatever was in his right hand inside the toilet bowl, and shoved Boerum with his hand, and reached to flush the toilet.
Boerum grabbedย Gallodoro by both shoulders, and shoved him back through the toilet, attempting to get his hands away from the toilet, “to prevent him from flushing any CDS evidence,” charging documentsย indicated.ย
Boerum placed Gallodoro in handcuffs and advised his to stay in the corner by the sink, so heย could look for any CDS evidence that he might have left.
Boerum discovered inside the toilet paper holder, which was directly underneath his left hand while he was unconscious on the toilet, a used syringe.
The complainant ย advised that Gallodoro was banned from Stoney’s. The complainant ย advised the approximate value of the damaged toilet was $500. Gallodoro was charged with CDS possession paraphernalia and maliciousย destruction of property.ย
Gallodoro has a scheduled hearing set for October 24 in District Court. Gallodoro faces a maximum jail sentence of two months and/or a maximumย fine of $1,000.ย
