The Patuxent Small Craft Guild (PSCG) members recently finished building a traditional 16-foot cedar-planked crabbing skiff at the Calvert Marine Museum. The boat was based on a design by David Lawrence, a retired boat builder in St. Maryโs County.

The public is invited to sign up and build your own 16-foot wooden canoe in two days! Call George Surgent at 410-586-2700 or email gsurgent@comcast.net.
