On the evening of Thursday, February 9, 2012, students and family gathered at the Dr. James A. Forrest Career Center for the annual Technology Expo. The expo gives prospective students and parents an opportunity to learn about the numerous current programs that the technology center offers.
The Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center is a part of the St. Mary’s County Public School System and gives high school students the opportunity to learn career specific information and skills. All instructors are certified teachers who have worked in the specific industry or have degrees in the field. The technology center offers a great opportunity for students to gain real world experience in a career field of their choice while working with industry standard tools, equipment, and technology.
