Reports came in shortly after 4 pm that the Solomon’s Thomas Johnson Bridge was closed, as an overturned tractor trailer was blocking traffic.
While information about an overturned tractor trailer on the bridge was broadcast over the police scanner, according to Sgt. Moore of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office the report is FALSE and the bridge is open.
