Waldorf, MD – On Aug. 5 at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to the 12000 block of Council Oak Drive in Waldorf for the report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers found a man and woman with serious injuries.
Investigation revealed the couple’s son, Brandon Arthur Swinson, 19, of Waldorf (pictured), allegedly assaulted them for unknown reasons and fled.
The victims were flown to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested Swinson during the early morning hours of Aug. 6.
He was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and violating a protective order. Detective B. Buchanan is investigating.
