OWINGS, Md. – Cheer Extreme Allstars – Calvert (CEA Calvert) proudly celebrates a major victory on the world stage as its team, Black Ice, secured 1st place in the Senior Co-ed Small Level 3 Division at the 2026 All Star World Championship.

Competing against top teams from across the country and around the world, Black Ice delivered a standout performance to earn the title of 2026 World Champions in their division. Their achievement marks a significant milestone for the program and highlights the team’s dedication, resilience, and exceptional talent.

The All Star World Championship, part of the Open Championship Series, represents the pinnacle of the competitive cheerleading season. Over four days of elite competition, the event brings together the highest-ranked teams globally to compete for world championship titles and international recognition.

Black Ice’s journey to the top was built on months of rigorous training and perseverance through challenges both large and small. Their first-place finish earned them the coveted championship title, gold medals, a championship ring, and a placement banner—symbols of excellence in the cheer industry.

“We are incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment, and determination these athletes have shown all season,” said Gym Owner and Coach, Allyson Jankowski. “They pushed through every obstacle and truly earned this moment.”

In addition to Black Ice’s championship win, two other CEA Calvert teams competed at the event:

• Sassy Katz – finished 14th in the Youth Small Level 2 Division
• Vengeance – finished 27th in the Junior X-Small Level 2 Division

All teams represented the program with pride and showcased the strength of a growing gym finishing out its 3rd season!
