On May 15, the Special Operations Division with the assistance of Patrol officers of the Sheriffs Office conducted an Operation in the CSAFE area of Lexington Park.ย This operation was a collaborative effort performed in conjunction with various agencies including the St. Maryโ€™s County Department of Social Services, Walden Sierra, Pathways, Three Oaks Shelter, and Adult Parole & Probation.

The goal of the operation was to utilize various resources in the county in a proactive effort to identify violators of quality of life crimes, arrest or cite as appropriate, and refer to services when deemed necessary.ย ย ย 

During this operation, numerous violations were observed resulting in the following subjects being arrested and or charged:

  1. Dinah M. Baker,ย 45ย ofย Lexington Park, for Disorderly Conduct
  2. Thomas R. Banks, 52 of Lexington Park,for Alcohol Violation
  3. Rose M. Briscoe, 45 of Lexington Park, forย Alcohol Violation
  4. Edwina D. Fenwick, 46 of Lexington Park, forย Alcohol Violation
  5. Latisha A. Bush, 26 of Lexington Park, forย Bench Warrant FTA
  6. Amy R. Fitzgerald, 36 of Lexington Park, forย Civil Citation Alcohol Violation
  7. John T. Merrill, 47 of Lexington Park,ย forย Trespassing
  8. Joseph K. Morgan, 46 for Trespassingย 

In a continuing effort to address quality of life issues or other community identified crime related concerns, future operations will be conducted.
