On Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 12:49 pm, TFC Linger and Tpr. Evans observed a blue Honda Civic traveling on Rt. 247, in the area of Busy Corner Road in Morganza exceeding the posted speed limit.
A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Richard Ramon Dent, 26, of Mechanicsville. Tpr. Evans observed marijuana in the vehicle. Mr. Dent was arrested for possession of marijuana and a CDS smoking device.
He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
